Marshmallow fondant is easy to make and pretty fun to use. You can cover cakes and cookies with it to give them a smooth professional-looking finish or you can cut out shapes and designs to decorate your icing with. Its cheaper to make your own fondant than it is to buy it pre-made plus the pre-made stuff tastes a bit like cardboard unless you are willing to pay for a very high end product.
This month has been very busy with many many birthdays, my parent's anniversary, my university graduation and the up-coming Father's Day. I wanted to make a couple of batches of cookies for some of the birthday presents but they needed to be able to travel well because they would be coming in my suitcase with me. They also, obviously, needed to be delicious.
This chocolate pudding pie is amazing! It's creamy, has a deep chocolate flavor, and still manages to be a light dessert. After it got all prettied up with some white chocolate lace it was ready to be the perfect pie for my mom's birthday dinner.
